i Sydney Taylor, All-of-a-Kind-Family and More-All-of-A-Kind-Family. I hadn't read these since I was a kid, and they are still good and brought back a lot of memories, even though I feel too old to be the ideal audience. I'm not sure I have too much to say about it, except that I appreciate that you can tell there are three years between the first and second book -- the older girls have become teenagers. I hadn't realized there were more books in the series -- which is interesting since More-All-of-A-Kind-Family read to me this time around as ending on a clear sequel hook. I plan to get back to the series soon.
Dodie Smith, I Capture the Castle. I placed a hold on the library e-book of this months ago, and it finally came in. Another reread where I hadn't read it since I was the same age as the protagonist. It's still an excellent read, though I did notice this time around just how teenaged the protagonist is. Also, when I read the book as a teenager, I had no clue where it was going.
