Happy For You, Claire Stanford. Recommended by Ask a Manager a while back, my hold just came in. Our protagonist has dropped out of a Ph.D. program in philosophy to work for a tech company which is trying to sell happiness. Meanwhile she is musing about the true meaning of happiness, her life choices and being half-Asian. A relatable protagonist and enjoyable cultural commentary -- I'm not sure where the plot is going, but it will be interesting to find out.
