You really make me want to read the book, though I absolutely loathe the frail health nonsense. I also wonder if the author's conclusion about Jews being more musical is a result of becoming aware that so many gifted musicians were Jewish, without being aware that Jews were limited to certain ways of earning a living that excluded the ownership of land, so the competition in the fields they could follow was pretty fierce. And the world would only hear the successful ones.
