wednesday reading on vacation

An Illusion of Thieves, Cate Glass (a pseudonym for Carol Berg). I like Carol Berg's books, so I was glad to hear she had new books out under a pseudonym -- though the pseudonym is apparently for publishing reasons, as this is very much a Carol Berg book in worldbuilding and characterization -- not as dark as some, but not all sparkles and light either. A satisfying heist story with an interesting and sympathetic female protagonist.

A Conjuring of Assassins, Cate Glass. Sequel to An Illusion of Thieves, have only just started, but I'm looking forward.

The Tempest, William Shakespeare. Read aloud (probably the last of these for a while). Yay, the Tempest! Fun and great language as usual. Enjoyed reading Ariel, including the creepy harpy scene, which I'd forgotten about.

I read and enjoyed both of the Cate Glass books before discovering it was a pseudonym. Do you recommend any of Carol Berg's books in particular?
