The Five Red Herrings, Dorothy Sayers. The re-enactment sequence was worth the rest of it.
Have His Carcase, Dorothy Sayers. Re-read, enjoyed as much the second time around. Harriet POV is always fun, and I still think the Playfair cipher scene is adorable even if I don't actually bother to check the logic step-by-step. Am somewhat disappointed that no one has written fanfic about Paul Alexis -- I kind of want to cross him over with A Countess Below Stairs by Eva Ibbotson, which is closer to the genre of story he wished he lived in. But writing about him well would take research.
