Yes, it is the worst! Though my headcanon to fix this is that Seraphael rescued the score from her grave, it was then found among his papers after the death of anyone who could have recognized it, attributed to Seraphael and performed as one of his symphonies, and then modern feminist musicologists did the detective work and figured out that she was actually the composer (as happened with Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel's "Easter Sonata").
