Tower of Thorns, Juliet Marillier. Who you gonna call? Blackthorn and Grim! This is the sequel to Dreamer's Pool: our protagonists have a new mystery to solve, and also will probably have to contend with their past. It's good to be back with Blackthorn and Grim -- I especially appreciate Blackthorn's crankiness. We also have a new POV character, who I haven't gotten far enough into the book to really get to know.
I'm looking forward to getting Naomi Kritzer's Catfishing on Catnet, the YA novel sequel to the award-winning short story Cat Pictures Please, which just came out. I really like <a href = "https://naomikritzer.com/>Kritzer's writing</a>, to the point where I read her blogging on local politics even though I don't live in the area, I just like solidly progressive and down-to-earth political voice. I'd probably read her laundry lists if she published them! (What I should actually get sometime are her older fantasy novels.)
