Another short post.
The Unspoken Name, A. K. Larkwood. Yay worldbuilding! This is the story of Csorwe, who started her life as a vessel for a goddess and was supposed to be sacrificed on her fourteenth birthday, except instead she runs off with a totally-not-sketchy wizard who wants to use her in his plans to reclaim his home city. Or at least that's Part 1, which I very much enjoyed. Then I got to the first chapter of part 2, which has a completely different setting and viewpoint characters, and I haven't yet gotten through that. A has mentioned that at some point Csorwe explains how to pronounce her name to the other characters (who don't have the advantage of the pronunciation guide at the start of the book), so I know we will be getting back to her -- oh, I should probably just get back to reading it!
