Have switched (for now) to reading shorter books, which makes it look like I'm reading more.

The Shakespeare Stealer, Gary Blackwood. Reread of a book I enjoyed as a kid -- middle-grade action-adventure set around Shakespeare's Globe, which wants to make sure you know that intellectual property theft is wrong. It also portrays historical anti-Semitism, and the thing I noticed this time around is that unlike most kids' books that do so, it doesn't make sure you know that anti-Semitism is wrong. In fact, Read more... ) So I'd be cautious about recommending it. I'll be reading the sequels, which I have read before but don't remember as well (but have been told do not feature anti-Semitism).

Dawnshard, Brandon Sanderson. A Stormlight novella! Enjoyed it, even though I have enough trouble keeping track of all the things going on in that world, let alone the Cosmere. Disability themes of this story not very subtle. I like Rysn as a character, though Lopen is kind of obnoxious (glad his character arc is trending in the direction of less obnoxious).
