wednesday books
6 October 2021 21:41This was a puzzle hunt week, so a short post today:
The Last Graduate, Naomi Novik. This was fun! (Though it does end on a seriouscliffhanger, as I had been warned.) It is kind of a middle book -- it's not doing the social commentary thing in the way that the first book was, but I liked spending more time with the characters and the world. I would love to get the story from the point of view of one of the Chinese students in the Scholomance, though Novik might not be the right person to write that.
