(The covid has been midly annoying respiratory stuff so far, I have been prescribed Paxlovid and am doing OK.)

The King of Attolia, Megan Whalen Turner. I liked this better the second read around but don't have much to say about it right now. Gen is charming in a Howl-like way.

All the Feels, Olivia Dade. I don't think this one gave me *all* the feels -- on the whole I preferred Spoiler Alert to which it is a sequel, but it did work as a feel-good romance when that was what I was looking for.

Busman's Honeymoon (play), Dorothy Sayers and Muriel St. Clare Byrne. Read-aloud. Actually from last week, but I forgot. I had read all the other Peter Wimsey novels and was saving this for a rainy day, and then got invited to a read-aloud of the original play that was later adapted into the novel. So I went in unspoiled (well, actually spoiled on some things, but not on the howdunit). It was a fun experience. Also I know I'm supposed to care about the Peter/Harriet relationship, and I'm sure I will when I finally read the book, but as usual with me and play readings I have gotten seriously into character and am team Miss Twitterton all the way.

Love All, Dorothy Sayers, play read-aloud. It's a shame this play isn't better known -- it's good! There's a writer dude who's a terrible person, but mostly it's about the women in his life, who realize that they have much better things to do with their lives than put up with him. There's also plenty of entertaining comedy/farce, in between the speeches about how women should have their own careers, and some nice plot twists (I did not see the one at the start of Act II coming).

Spiderlight, Adrian Tchaikovsky. Wanted to read this a few days ago, but my ancient tablet kept on crashing when I tried to load it in Google books. However I have now replaced the tablet! There's a D&D party of adventures on a quest to defeat the Dark Lord, and they've picked up a spider-creature to guide them. Clearly going subvert the standard fantasy tropes but I'm not yet sure exactly how.
