The Thousand Eyes, A. K. Larkwood. That was a fun book with a satisfying ending.
The Mask of Mirrors, M. A. Carrick (joint pen name of Marie Brennan and Alyc Helms). Ren is a former street rat turned con artist, trying to insinuate herself into a noble family of her home city, which is full of intrigue, gangs, and a mysterious vigilante called the Rook, not to mention magic. About of a third of the way in, and enjoying it -- mostly feels pretty similar to other Marie Brennan I've read, though the other author I'd compare it to is Carol Berg (/Cate Glass). Worldbuilding is well-done though not super distinctive. I have some theories, but am not really sure what's going on. People have said good things about these books, so I'm hoping they deliver a good payoff.
